Meet the Cast from the Blast!

Jay

Howdy! I’m Jay! I was born in 1997 (allegedly). My earliest memory of watching cartoons was with Rugrats, specifically the episode about bowling. As I matured so did my taste in cartoons, and through watching way too many horror films at an inappropriate age my love for all things spooky blossomed in to a love for shows such as the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy and and Courage the cowardly dog.

I mostly grew up as a Cartoon Network kid but I’d tune into Nickelodeon and Disney from time to time, as well as Nickelodeons graveyard Nicktoons

Now I spend my time rewatching Steven universe once a year, as well as anything I feel like revisiting!(it’s mostly Steven universe)

Reyah

Hiya everyone! My name is Reyah, cartoon lover since 1998. In my early years I religiously watched Nickelodeon shows like Rugrats, CatDog, and SpongeBob. As I got older my love for cartoons shifted to CartoonNetwork where I discovered The Grim Adventured of Billy and Mandy, Chowder, Flapjack, and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Of course I’ve never grown out of my love for cartoons. It has fostered a level of creativity and world building that I use in video game development. Currently I spend my free time discovering new shows and anime. My comfort shows are Steven Universe and The Owl House which I enjoy watching casually on repeat.

Sophie Rager

Hi! My name’s Sophie Rager! I was born in 1997 at the ripe age of 0 years old. Some of my earliest shows I remember watching were Bear In The Big Blue House, Between the Lions, and Lazy Town. I very quickly became obsessed with shows involving superheroes, with some of my favorites being the X-Men, Spider-Man, and Batman animated series.

Unfortunately I never got too invested in a lot of the live action shows aimed at my age range, I really only watched things like I-Carly and Suite Life of Zach and Cody.

Nowadays I’ve been getting back into some of the shows that really made up my teenage years, like the various Transformers series that ran from 2000 to 2016, Adventure Time and My Little Pony. Ultimately, the variety of shows that I grew up with really made me who I am, and gave me a massive love and appreciation for animation as a whole!

Zarik Envy

Ahoy! I’m Zarik Envy! I was born in 1998, leading to Blue’s Clues and Rugrats as the first shows I remember watching as I was first gaining self awareness. In fact, my mom wrote down a list of my 10 first words. The names “Tommy” and “Chucky” could be found in this list.
These shows allowed us to quickly jump from universe to universe, adventuring with unique characters in each setting. This has led me to spend much of my time and creativity in my adult life running Dungeons & Dragons games!
