About

Blast From The Cast is a monthly nostalgia podcast hosted by four Elder Gen Zers who proudly consider their TVs their unofficial third parent. Raised on a steady diet of after-school reruns, late-night channel surfing, and iconic theme songs, they bring both humor and sharp perspective to the shows that shaped a generation.

Each episode leans into the chaos of chance: one series is randomly selected, followed by a completely random episode from that show. From there, nothing is off-limits. The hosts dive deep into a full scene-by-scene breakdown—revisiting plotlines, dissecting characters, calling out the absurd, and celebrating the moments that still hit (or definitely don’t).

Whether it’s uncovering forgotten gems, re-evaluating childhood favorites, or questioning how certain episodes ever made it to air, Blast From The Cast is equal parts hilarious commentary and cultural time capsule. It’s not just a rewatch—it’s a full-on retrospective with friends who remember exactly what it felt like to grow up glued to the screen.

GET TO KNOW THE CREW: Home
A vibrant, overflowing retro TV shrine arranged on a low, chunky wooden entertainment unit, featuring a boxy silver CRT television with curved glass screen displaying a colorful static test pattern reminiscent of 90s kids’ channels. Surrounding the TV are neatly stacked VHS tapes with worn, illustrated cartoon covers, translucent neon cassette tapes, a bright orange plastic VCR, and a lime-green Game Boy resting on a spiral-bound doodle-covered notebook. Warm, late-afternoon sunlight streams through off-frame blinds, casting striped shadows across the dust-speckled screen. Shot at eye level in photographic realism with rich, saturated colors, shallow depth of field, and a playful, nostalgic mood, the background softly blurred to suggest a cozy bedroom plastered with indistinct posters.
